Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FromLvlZero, a drawing-practice tracker operated by Darcnai, the independent developer of FromLvlZero. When the app presents an agreement screen, selecting the agreement control and continuing records your acceptance of the displayed version of these terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. You can review the documents, export your records, sign out, or request account deletion without accepting.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials and device, and activity under your account. The optional device app lock is an additional local privacy measure and does not replace your account password.

The service

FromLvlZero lets you record drawing sessions, organize projects, skills, and mediums, set goals, and view progress calculated from what you enter. It is a documentation tool, not professional instruction, coaching, or a guarantee of artistic results.

We may maintain, improve, or change the service. We aim to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Use the built-in CSV or JSON export when you want your own backup.

Your content

You retain ownership of the names, notes, and practice information you enter. You give Darcnai the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, and display that content to you solely to operate and secure FromLvlZero. The current app does not publish your practice information to other users.

Acceptable use

Do not use FromLvlZero unlawfully; attempt to access another person's account or records; interfere with the service; probe or bypass its security; or upload or enter material that violates another person's rights.

Optional tips

FromLvlZero may link to the developer's Ko-fi page. A tip is voluntary, is processed outside the app by Ko-fi and its connected payment provider, and unlocks no content, feature, priority, or other benefit. Those providers' terms govern the transaction. Refunds or disputes, when applicable, are handled through those providers; FromLvlZero has no in-app payment system.

Ending an account

You may permanently delete your account and synced practice data from Profile → Data & Privacy. You may also use the instructions at fromlvlzero.com/account-deletion.html (https://www.fromlvlzero.com/account-deletion.html). Deletion cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

We may suspend access reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, or address a material violation of these terms. When practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Darcnai is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms as FromLvlZero changes. We will provide appropriate advance notice of a material change. Material updates presented in the app require renewed explicit acceptance before access to the main application. Previously accepted versions remain available for reference. If you do not accept an update, you can export your records or delete your account.
